Not sure which one to get.

All seem to be good boards, but not sure which one is the better
of the bunch.
Thinking of upgrades later.

Would like an opinion please, TY.

Getting close to my first build, and the motherboard part is giving me a headache...lol

That depends whether you want the option of SLI or the Wifi. Personally, I'd go with the Gigabyte since it's significantly cheaper.

The GB one also supports 1066 DDR2 memory, which can be quite a good investment in the near future.

The Gigabyte board gives you the best bang for the buck. As far as the Asus boards go, I lean more toward the P5K due to the Intel chipset.

I just got done building a new computer for my mom and I went with the GIGABYTE GA-P35-DS3L. It's a solid board, but the IDE connector is in a weird spot. If you have more than 1 PCI device you will have to wrestle with your IDE cable in order to get it to fit.

here's what I built

Q6600 G0
GIGABYTE GA-P35-DS3L
Crucial 2x1GB PC-8500 1066Mhz
eVGA 7600GT
WD Caviar SE 320GB SATA

If I were to recommend a motherboard, I'd say get the eVGA 122-CK-NF68-A1 Room for upgrades with SLI, and supports up to DDR1200 RAM. Of course it'd be nice to know what budget you are working with

eVGA supported memory chart

good luck

Working with about 850 bucks so far this is my layout. One possible outcome.

and then about 52.00 in small parts like an extra fan, some round cables, and Artic Silver. Along with a few other odds and ends.
Plus already have PNY 8800 GTX card not interesred in SLI at this time.
