So I bought prophecies last night, and Im pretty pleased with it. Im probly gonna get the expansions, but I have a few questions. Can I buy them out of order? Is there any expansion that isnt really used anymore that I could possibly skip? thanks!

Factions (GW#2) and Nightfall (GW#3) are both standalone games, as in you dont need any other game to play those 2. Eye of the North is the only true expansion and need one of the prior 3 to play it.

In terms of popularity, Nightfall probably has more people in the cities, however Alliance Battles is still pretty popular in Factions. Eye of the North probably has the most people due to being newest, however you get more content in Factions or Nightfall.

There's no real order to them, so yeah, you can buy them in whatever order you want.

There is only 1 expansion call Eye of the North, you need to own any of the other 3 stand alone campaigns before you can get it.
The 3 stand alone campaigns can be added to your account in any order.
The best campaign to skip would be Factions because it doesn't offer Heroes.

Prophecies has a slow learning curve so that is a good one to get used to. You should probably get used to the gameplay of the first one before you buy them all at once.
