ok well i heard that if u take either a hero or henchmen with you in an explorable area that u get less drops or not even any drops at all. so i bring a hero into a mission or a quest im doing with a group of by myself. is the chances of drops decrease for me n party members?

If you bring 1 hero, you get 50% less drops.
If you bring 2 heros, you get 66% less drops.
If you bring 3 heros, you get 75% less drops.
See the pattern?

You will get more drops solo, but not to the degree that you state.
edit: Drops that are exempt from loot scaling may be split by the percentages in your post.

the answer to your question is no. Heroes only take a fair share of the drops.
for example, if you go into an explorable area with a party of 7 other people you're just as likely to get the same drops as you would with a party of 7 heroes. Heroes do not take away from the drops you would normally get.
I've heard so many people say you get less drops when you're with heroes. It's not true. You just see less drops because you don't see the ones that drop for heroes, therefore it gives the illusion that there are less things dropping.
Normal loot sharing rules apply. the smaller your party size the more drops will be assigned to you.
