Away Messages

I think that GW should allow you to have away messages. This way if im selling something in party search or something i can leave a message saying" Back in 5" or "Bathroom Break" so they know im afk but not for long. It would also help if a friend gets on or a vender and i bought something of guru forums and i have to go to dinner, "Back in 20!"

no more missed whispers because I had to use the restroom, or go change a load of laundry.

its been a long time since I played diable 2 but I'm sure it had this option (/afk going to the restroom) then you had (/back) to remove it. it was real simple no - or / or anything after /afk just a space and your mesg.

Would be really helpful and is needed.
In Warcraft3 for example you can write /away "Message ......"
Then everyone whispering you will get that message.

I don't know if the usefulness outweighs the implementation needed, but not really a reason not to sign.

Definately, and the "This person may not reply because their status is currently set to away" message is very nondescript :P.

idk..sure it would be usefull... but anet doesnt need to waste their time on that just tell ur friend, "brb"

if ur gonna use the forum...make it something usefull. like a new map travel method. sucks if u have a slow computer to go from tyria, to kamadan, to the vortex, to abbadons gate

make it so that when u go to the boat, it just says a "tyria" and when u click, it just shows u a map of tyria. then u can go anywhere in one load
