Old Mack?

Anyone know where Old Mack is? It says on GW Wiki that he is outside Ascalon City but I can't see him anywhere.

He should be near Gwen. I went to check where he is, and I found him there.

Ah, well it could be because I have a Gwen bug... Whenever I want to do a quest from Gwen, she just says "Ok I'll follow you". I've had it since I started Guild Wars a few days ago. Do you know how to get rid of it?

You only see old mack after you have done the quest "A mesmer's burden" and killed bill the bull.

That may be because you were in a group the first time u left ascalon. If you were in a party or playing gate monkey then you wont get any of gwen's quests. I ve given her a lot of flowers and still nothing.

you can do the quest if you havent picked a second profession. After you do the egg quest you get two eggs, one is for old Mack.
after you have the egg and a second profession i think he goes up to Althea even if you aren't a mesmer

A mesmer's burden can be done by any profession. As long as you have not already chosen another secondary profession.
Old Mack is any profession, only requires that you have done the burden quest already.
So if you chose a secondary profession before doing the burden quest, you will not be able to do the burden quest or old mack's quest.
