Well, my idea is simpler than the topic suggests. I've tried searching for similar ideas in the forum, but I didn't find any.
If heroes are really going to be our "henchmen" in GW2, then it would be great if we could customize a little bit their AI. Here's how I think: if we could create a simple macro for the heroes to use, for example:
Macro 1
skills 1 - 2 - 4 - 6 (in that sequence)
Macro 2
skills 3 - select next target ally - 7 - select next target ally - 3 - select next target ally - 8 (in that sequence)
And we could simply run these macros whenever we wanted (either a keyboard bind or push buttons on the screen).
Now, I know what you are thinking. That I am a lazy hero controller (that's not true since I still don't own either NF or GWEN), that I am trying to make an easy minion bomber, and so on. Well, no. I know you can already control the heroes as if they were your main char, like firing skills you want, when you want, in the sequence you want. But when you have 3 heroes plus your main char (and maybe even more heroes at the same time on GW2) then controlling them all the time as if you were that character can be a bit too taxing. I mean, letting the AI do all the stuff is not as fun as learning how to play Mesmer (for example) and "teaching" it to your Hero.
Just to be clear, I am suggesting just a simple control mechanism, not including python scripting and letting users control every aspect of the heroes AI.
As far as Heroes battle, well, maybe the macros could be forbidden, but I still think, somehow, that the macros are a rough representation of how you play (intuition, adaptation, instinct are human-only skills that probably correspond to 95% of how good you play and cannot be put into macros). So maybe they wouldn't hurt the battle.

I have no idea what you're talking about, but I see something about making hereos better XD
