idea for a new mini pet

Agree. we don't need another e-peepee, add something useful instead like more storage, or make something else stackeable in storage.

Yea, people who think rely on their e-peens should quit the game, I agree.

This is the fad that really needs to get out of here. By putting "Dear Gaile" or "Dear Dev team", you're not going to get your post more recognized, and you sound like a complete bag of douche by doing it.

On-topic: Honestly, it may be a good idea for a minipet, but minipets in general are a bad idea.

I didn't say it to get my post recognized or to get more replies. I said it so hopefully the team sees it and considers it. I think it'd be a great idea for 3rd years, being one myself. Also this is my first post here so take it easy on me; I didn't know what to put it's a tough world for girl gamers lol ....and I'm not familiar with the "e-peen" concept...but I don't think I want to know lol.

A mini Glint would be great for a 3rd year gold.

And the e-peen remarks, along with all of the trendy, negative, juvenile phrases/terms have always been annoying.

Seeing that it is a virtual item bought with virtual money that is accumulated basically by spending more time on the game, then that is what it is.
Mini-pets aren't needed. They just show how lucky you are, or that you are rich by trading/farming. Or you might have won some GvG tournament, but that happens rarely. Especially rare minis with their 500+ecto worth, it just shows how much money you have. There are plenty of people who would want a Kanaxai, but hell if I'm going to trade all day so I could have a chance to buy one whenever someone wants to try and auction it off.

Back on topic, I don't really care about the pet because I know I have a snowball's chance in hell of getting any decent mini-pet for my character's third birthday. Glint is an ok idea, but I like something else. I wouldn't mind a Reaper, Kvelduf (http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Kveldulf), a weird monster like a Leviathan Eye, Warden, Executioner (if it retains the correct size compared to other minis and has a weapon) or a Nightmare. Not that Glint is bad, but I would rather see something than "strong boss from one of the campaigns" again.

Oh, by the way, I don't think you can call "e-peen" a "fad". It's been around for a long time, I remember it from the early days of Runescape, its been around about as long as "noob" has.

Not as much as the whole "epic fail" thing. Seriously.. it should be a bannable offence.

He was probably refering to the fact it's just lately become an increasingly popular term on these boards.

More on topic, I would also prefer something besides mini pets for the third year presents. I believe the developers asked for our opinions on what we should get last year, and a lot of people were disappointed to get more minis in the end. But perhaps they've had enough time do actually do something big this year.

But if we are just getting more mini's, then a Glint would be pretty darn cool.

Yah I have to agree that something more than just a mini, or something along with a mini, for third years would be nice. Not sure what, unique weapon? No idea. I mean 3rd year is a big year for us loyal players...it's in some ways the last real year for Guild Wars....because next year it's GW2.

They should just give everyone 1 mil gold for 3 years, the economy is already screwed over from inscriptions, so I don't see why not.
