Hey so it seems that I am stuck. I have completed all Istan quests and I can not advance because the honorable general quest requires level 12 or first rank spear. I am level 8 and at jokanur digging completed all istan quests I could find and cant advance. So am I going to have to grind to level 12 or first rank spear. I also cant go to the diferent campaigns because it seems like kamadan is not the leaving town.

Doubt it as you said you did all that you could get to. Though we can't be sure without a list. Just grind to level 12..takes about an hour max :s

Just go to a shrine and get a bounty, then clear that area of monsters picking up all the other bountys as you go along. Zehlon reach may be a good choice for this.

First Spear requires 300 Sunspear points so the others are right, you should pick up shrine bounties wherever you can and kill monsters. I did this last night with a level 8 elementalist in Zehlon Reach (with an experienced ranger helping me). There are lots of skale in the area so if you remember to pick up that bounty they're particularly good for generating Sunspears. (Honorable General is very easy, BTW, if you have a partner!)
