Prophecies to factions? I am trying to help my friend get there from Prophecies and we don't know where to go and what quest to get him.

When you arrive in Lions Arch, a log will appar telling you that ''if you want to access Cantha (Factions) take X quest from Y person''
If you want to get from Factions to Prophs, go into Kaineng Center and the same log will appear, but different quest.
