I want to buy weapons from Telamon but won't let me.

Do you need a certain level of Lexon faction before he will craft weapons for you? If so how much and how long will it take to get? Thanks for any help!

I did this quest but I'm not a friend yet. Do I need 250,000 faction to get this rank according to this?

You need to have more luxon faction than kurzick faction in order to be able to speak to luxon NPCs. You shouldn't need the title.

No ... that's the title track which you would need to acquire the Luxon (PvE only) skills.

If you finished the quest Befriending the Luxons I think you should be able to get the armor. Not sure why you can't, unless you have switched faction to Kurzick.

if you are in a kurzick guild I think you need to leave and join a luxon guild long enough to buy your armor.

That's right, you don't need ranks or luxon guild. Just more faction points.

Tijo is the only one that gave you the right answer. If you have more Kurzick faction than Luxon none of the Luxon NPCs will help you and vice versa for Kurzick NPCs. You don't have to complete any quests or title tracks although if Telamon is in a town you can't reach you may need to finish "befriending the luxons" and the Gyala Hatchery mission in order to reach the town.

I'm in a Kurzick guild, yet I've been able to buy Luxon elite armor with no problem. I just had to earn some luxon faction which is easy enough by killing stuff on the luxon side.

Like you guys pointed out I had more Kurzick faction than Luxon so once I fix that I should be good to go. Thanks much!

I agree with TheRaven. Just so you are clear and don't get confused, what Tijo said is correct.

Please don't post relies to simple questsions if you don't know the answer, you will just confuse people.

1 more thing if you have 1000 or more kurzick faction, i suggest you use it to get rewards either amber, kurzick skill or raising your alliance's faction before you go farming luxon faction. When you cash luxon faction, you loose the same amount of kurzick faction and vice versa. That way you won't loose any faction should you decide to use your luxon faction for jadeite, etc.

If you are in a luxon guild and you have more kurz faction, it still doesn't work. That option only works when you have an equal ammount of both factions.

No you don't at at all, You simply have to have more luxon that kurzick faction when you speak to him - even if its only 100 faction or anything. Neither of the sides NPCs will talk to you if you have 0 faction in both sides either.

Just need the proper amount of faction - IE, at least 1 faction more local faction than opposing faction.

Ownership of the outpost may matter, though. Not sure how, exactly.
