I would buy into this idea (or even less, but more than 2). I don't think that the cap should change on these titles for maxing them, but it would be a little more interesting to have more intermediate titles on the way to max lvl.

Any attempts to make titles harder will get /notsigned and anything that makes titles easier will get /signed. It's a simple fact of guru. I don't even have to make a post and I'll know whether or not it will get signed.

True... but drunkard isn't so much about it being "easy." Max Drunkard is about the fact that 10,000 miniutes is already a HUGE waste of time. It's already ridiculous enough.

only, when they decrease the difference between R1 and R2 drastically:

R1: 1000
R2: 5000
R3: 15000

and when they change the model of the Drunkard title also finally from those stupid minutes to Points-Way.

We have also not to chew our sweets for minutes first, before they count towars the title, so wtf is the reason, that we have to waste minutes for alcoho, before it will coutn towards the title >.<
We have also not to wait 1 minute after usage of our party stuff first, before they will count...

Drunkard title shows simple, how to annoy players best by implementign a functionality, that is simple against all rules of good gameplay - by letting the players waste time...

And even if they were account wide, there should be no big increase in the titles, something like:

Turned into

it further rewards the players who use bots to get their title points.

I know players who use macros to get the drunkard title and I know some who don't. I know players who use macros to flag hfff and I know players who don't. Personally, I don't care. As long as you don't have an unfair advantage over the average player (meaning going afk while your bots grind gold or rep points for you). Drunkard is a very useless title and deserves a macro released by anet for it. As does sugar! Clicking on the same object over and over again is a task only fit for a bot and not a gamer. There is no skill or intelligence involved. Even farming bots have more intelligence than that.

Umm... you so sure about that?
The "hard" part about the drunkard title really is the monontony of sitting around drinking all those ales and not going crazy.

They might throw a bone to those aspiring drunkards with a level 2 step, maybe at 3000k called "chronic binge drinker", so it's roughly a three-fold increase of effort for each level. But that's about it and even that is not really necessary.

No point in making this title harder, which will never happen anyway. The max title has already been set in stone at 10k. There's no way a.net will make a change to this title that could have a domino effect on people's titles.

i would rather love 5.000 as rank 2 and 10.000 as max
