An easy way to get a book filled up and a lot of rep points is...
just do the EotN main quests on a new lvl 10-20 while having a book in their inventory...
that way, you'll get all the spiffy extra rep AND fill up a book. wooooo!

Nice enough I guess. Don't think I'll bother except for dwarf. The rest is just easier to finish the HM books twice per title.
Neo Nugget
Alright, not bad, i didn't do much with the last double weekend, so I might try to get a max title.
Esprit
If this gets more Rank 9 and Rank 10 Ursans into FoW and UW, I'm all for it.

Awesome weekend! Great way for my friend to max his Norn reputation title and get into all the really bad ursan pugs. Might actually log in to give him a hand.

Hmmm...I expected this to happen about now...
I finished Asuran last week, and am projected to finish Deldrimor before the weekend (IVP ftw). Guess this will be a great opportunity to get Norn and Vanguard to r8 and finish those off with the HM books later.
I like.

Great timing for me and anybody else who got GW:EN at Target for cheap reccently.

I still have 7 more characters that want eye armor....so they have a chance of getting to level 5 while just doing the quests this weekend, YIPPPEEE.
so yeah its an ok weekend idea.

I want me some Confederecto.
Eh, decent "event", I guess. Might pull myself away from IRL/Warcrack long enough to max my Asuran title, or something. I'd still like more PvP bonuses though. LOLWHINEMOANCOMPLAINLOL

After spending a week straight doing CoF runs for delver title on my war...this happens when I'm 900 points away and will finish it tonight.
Guess I'll work on norn instead then.

Well I'm already done my Norn title and Dwarf will be easy enough. What's a good place to grind Asura points? Excluding repeatedly farming the Raptors outside of Rata Sum... I'm monk and 600/Smite is very slow at that :P
Cherng Butter
Aww crap, I just realized that I'll be away all weekend anyway for All State Orchestra...oh well I usually just do books, so no biggie.
Bob Whills
Does this weekend include the rep bonus for finishing dungeons? might be worth it to work my way through the hm ones.

Possibly silly question, but does this double just the "official" quest reward rep points listed in the quest journal for some of the quests (usually 100-250pts), or does it apply to the first time completion bonus of primary quests and dungeons as well? Eg if I hold off on A Time for Heroes till the weekend, I'll get 10k vs 5k.
Marty Silverblade
For some reason I've had the insatiable urge to grind my GWEN rep points. Seriously. I don't know why, I don't think I want to know, but I'll appreciate this.
azizul1975
this will mean :
double points -> more people r10 ursan -> more r10 ursan DoA pugging -> more armbraces -> armbraces price dropping..!!
alert..!! alert !!!

I was reading a thread about the nerfing of Urban Blessing (but it is closed now). UB is connected with Norm Rank. And this weekend, there is a boost for earning Norm Rank.
So, I guess Anet wants to give players a quick way to max out Norm Rank so they can use UB more effectively.
I have not yet earned any rep point except for defeating those Norms standing in the shrine, I guess this bonus is beneficial for me. I might be able to learn UB and make it to at least R5.
But whether I make it or not, i'm sure there'll be thousands of player who will max out their norm point and there'll be thousands of new UB players. Result: Cheaper prices of items (i think ectos will be replaced by tomes because tomes can only be found in HM and a lot of players are buying tomes).
So, i guess this bonus is good for me.

If we complete a quest before this weekend will we still get double points for it? Any ideas?
Linksys
Well I guess I can get the last 46k Asura points I need this weekend. Then I'm done with the five GWEN titles. I'm glad to hear about this double rep weekend.

Eer...i don't want to start a new thread coz i'm sure i'll get "use the seach button...it is there for that reason." or "use wiki. it is your friend."
But can someone please pm me a good link to info about earning GWEN rep points. The only thing i know is from wiki (the one that tells you to start in olafstead.
thanks.

Ahh well, free weekend for me

Guess I'd better stop playing true eotn with my monk till the weekend. Otherwise I'll finished the quests and I'll be stuck with a book. Seeing as the primaries give bonus points only the first time. Maybe it's time to take some secondary/thirtiary characters that got left behind through the missions.

I haven't completed NF but couldn't resist $9.99 for EotN.
Plus I'm off this weekend.
Life is good.
(If I had one lulz)
