God Walking Amongst Mere Mortals

I had a thought about this title. It is the max rank for the maxed rank title. However, it doesn't do anything for anyone, except provide bragging rights. I think the people dedicated enough (or crazy enough) to gain this title should be rewarded in some way.

Although the number of people who obtain this title will increase over time, it is currently a title VERY few people have, or will ever get. So, my idea for a reward, it based on what obtaining max rank in a title does.

Currently, when you max out a title, it adds to the time we have favor. If someone has 30+ titles maxed out, they don't have many options left to help gain favor (at least on that character). And since they are called a 'God' by the game, they should get a just reward.

Free entrance, at any time to either UW or FoW. No 1k entrance fee, and no Favor required. It could allow those people to take others with them, but the GWAMM title holder would need to be the party leader.

Needed? Nope. It won't even ruin the economy, as the people who can make use of this is a limited number, and the 1k price is hardly stopping people.

I do not have this title, but I am working on it. At 24 maxed titles, I have a lot of work to do. This is not some way for me to get farming done easier, I just think the people who earn the title should be rewarded.

Isn't that what all titles do? Or are supposed to do?

Not so sure about the free entrance for a group to UW/FoW, but I at least like the idea of no favor required. I also like the idea of the emote for this title, but that is another thread. Could also just give them a glowing effect in towns to show that they have become gods.

Don't titles carry over benefits to GW2? That's a pretty big plus if you ask me.

How about an aura around the character while in town.. I think that would look sweet.

Wisdom gives benefits for salvaging.
Treasure Hunter/Lucky give benefits for lockpicks.
Luxon/Kurzick/Lightbringer/Sunspear/Norn/Asura/Vanguard/Dwarf give benefits for skills.
Lightbringer/Dwarf/Vanguard give benefits when facing particular enemies.

It's what KoaBD does though...

And is that why people really get those titles?

This is just an expression. It doesnt mean that you ARE actualy a god so I doubt that THE Gods will allow bigheaded, bragging human's into their own realms for free.

you can act as a "god" and gain acess to uw, fow. when the world doesnt have favor. but the 1k fee still stands! (i think the fee is retarded anyway, it keeps one mony sink that will never go away)

agreed. saying that you should glow if you have r6 KoaBD is like saying having "my guild hall smells of rich mahogany" should give off a mahogony smell from your speakers.

free entrance t fow/UW....to get gwamm you at least spent something like 2 milion golds.....up to 6. There is no need to give more benefits to thos who award the title.

And yea those people will surely get something special in GW2.

........surely the thought of what you have acheived should be enough compensation.

Yeah, I don't think that people are gonna spend 2k + hours so they can get to fow or uw for free....... Titles were just meant for e-peen nothing else.

Any special appearance granted by achieving the title would be nice, because then it would allow for those people to be recognized for their achievements and still display another favorite or useful title of theirs.

If it was an emote like the tiger/wolf emotes or not needing fame to enter then I'd probably sign. But removing a gold sink is no. Besides, how does free entry work if you have people who don't have maxed titles? Do they go in free with you? Or do they have to pay separately? Otherwise you could charge like 500g for a full party and ferry people. Half price entry for them and cash for you? No.

I'd like to be able to display my KOABD title and have every buff title under it be active. Sure it's a lazy way instead of just hitting H and clicking the correct title track for the area, but still.
