boss question?

i think im probably missing something straight forward but im tryin to get the Sanhan's Staff from sanhans tall earth boss in jaya bluffs but every time i go there to kill him he doesnt drop the staff any help will be appreciated thanks

greens are just a random drop. If you see the Boss holding the weapon he does have a higher chance of dropping it though.

Like all other drops it's random or has a surten % to drop. You just have to continue killing him untill he drops it.
Try to avoid taking hench with you, since they will take a surten %/droprate off the item you try to get.
Doing this solo increases the drop rate to you, since you are the only one in the party. (Bigger chance of getting it)

But if you need help, allways take a friend with you and then he might get the staff to.

That seams pretty unfair, do you see iboga bosses wielding weapons?

Its almost easier to just spend the gold on the item. Greens are worth nothing anyway

1) You have to do more damage to him than the Tengu do

2) Why would you want that staff? It's a non-max piece of crap.

As has been noted, the bosses don't drop a green every time they die. Also, if you have 8 in the party, you only have a 1/8 chance that, if the boss does drop the green, they'll drop it for you.
If you are playing with heroes and/or henchies, you can increase your chances of getting the green by flagging your h&h outside of compass range before you kill the boss.
