Looking to do all the UW Quests with H/H. Advice?

In all my years of playing GW, I have never actually gone through and cleared the Under World. I would like to remedy this ASAP.
I will most likely be doing this by myself, or with 1 friend. That said, which heroes would be the most likely to make my goal possible, and what class should I be to make this happen? I have not tried anything on my own yet, as I was hoping to get some pointers before I head out.
Thanks.

It's necessary to have one person capable of tanking, because of Aatxes / the dryder area / 4 horsemen. The rest is pretty easy, really, but i'd say that having one tankable character is the most important thing when H/H underworld.

you can't actually H/H the UW. you can take heroes but not henchmen because they aren't "Ascended" unlike heroes. So if you want to clear the UW you'll need at least 1 other person with good heroes also. unless you're trying to solo or duo it or something like that.
crystalklear64
Ah, I was not aware that you could not take henchmen.
So, having a damage taker is apparently important. Any suggestions as to how to get the enemies to focus their fire on me? I have tanked in the past, but these days it seems like mobs like to just run past/away from me if they attack me for too long.

You have to keep your heros and partner flagged out of aggro range for a few seconds so they start focusing on you. Obsidian tank will be the best especially for 4 hourseman.

Obsidian flesh tank is the easy way, but you don't have to have a tank.

Either that or two expert monks who can keep their eye on the battlefield and effectively pre-emptively prot and heal different targets. Considering you won't find one of those, tanker is the way to go.

Well, healing isn't really an issue I've ever had, its not being able to do enough damage. Most of my builds and the build of my heroes have their own healing skills, but not enough killpower.

How many healing skills do they have and which ones are they using? Selfheals usually arn't that great in pve.

Maybe thats the problem :P
Shift your focus to skill bars that kills rather than healing. Leave the healing to 2 at max.
As for clearing UW, the only place i face problems with normal builds is the 'Four Horsemen' quest. I took the easy way out, using an obsidian flesh ele with arcane mimicry to copy my friend's ursan.

Well I had my first attempt yesterday. Went with a nightmare interrupt ranger and a water ele for the 2 humans. 2 monks, 1 para, 1 SS, 2 SF eles, for the heroes.
We were able to do the smite run portion with no problem, and were able to do all the quests up to defending the villagers. We thought they had to all be kept alive, so when one of the farther ones died, we just left and started killing random enemies.
Will try again tonight.

This is NM right? I'm telling you, tanking isn't needed.

Agree'd. Let the Reaper hold the four horsemen aggro, two healers should definitely be able to outheal four Mesmers with IDENTICAL bars.
Teutonic Paladin
A few terrorwebs come with the Horsemen, they'll shread him with MS and shatter any enchantments you put up.
EDIT: Also, I've been able to clear out everything but Servants of Grenth and 4 Horsemen using an Ursan Warrior, SS Necro with Rt heals, Mind Blaster with PS and SB, and an N/Rt Healer.

Antithesis
I do it with 2 accounts for the 6 heroes.
I use a God-mode D-slasher as the main and take a Promise Nuker on the second account to help clear the Aatxes. Once they're down, i log the Nuker out and take off with all heroes.
Once you complete the first quest, the second a/c's heroes disappear from the party bar but still tag along like NPCs. Party healing etc still works, you just can't target them with the red bars.
Party is composed of D-slash W/P (me), Stunning Strike P, Song of Purification / Song of Restoration P, Arcane Orders D/N, Blindbot E/Rt or SS N/Rt, Icy Veins N/Rt, Jagged Bones N/Rt. The JB MM takes Putrid Bile + Rising Bile to complement Icy Veins on the other N/Rt when corpses are in short supply.
I admit i've yet attempt the full UW run, but i managed to clear the first few quests with no problems to test the build.

Antithesis, so those builds would work fine for just capping a spider? Because for me I just need to go down to the uw to cap a spider for me and my gf's monuments. So I should just use a combination of rac's and sabway along with a blindbot.
How did you set up your blindbot? Also, which quests would you find easiest to get spiders? Should I just go twice and do the one quest with the iw enemies?

Sabway... A lot of protting or nuking heroes, I dunno rly, as long as u kill the Great Black Horned Beasts at the start ur fine in the rest.
