New Profession, What Secondary?

I have had Nightfall for a while and had just finished Factions as a DEATH Necro / Monk. I have now started Nightfall.

You'd think i'd go as a necro right? Naw, Every time I try the new professions, and the PARAGON semms promising. I never took assassin or ritualist because supposedally the assassins get weaker as they progress, and the ritualist wasnt my type. Anyways....

I read the sticky on paragons, and it helped alot, besides the fact on what i want to be.

My thoughts are a PWNAGE spearmaster, and correct me if im wrong, is a P/W, full spear rest somthing, I had not gone into the full detail of the guide.

Or a motivation Paragon. Im not sure yet. I wanted some info on experience either AS a Paragon or knowing what YOU WANT in a Paragon, because people said that this NEEDS to be this. But they really need or want/expect this in so and so.

Catch my drift?
My paragon is level 5 and I have not chosen my secondary, again I want some feedback.

My Paragon is: Spearmaster Graal

Cheeres mate, and good adventuring to all.
Graal.

Remember, this is PvE, even in the higher end areas, it doesn't matter if you aren't 100% efficient. Play around with different things, find what appeals to you, and if you want advice on how to improve that general concept (for example, spearmaster, motivation/support, etc), then ask later.

well since paragons like to cause burning with a few of their skills i like being a P/E for the sole reason of carrying 'Steam' and blinding those close combat annoyances

My Paragon's secondary is Warrior. The Paragon's primary attribute kicks in whenever you use a shout or chant to buff your allies, and Warriors have a few nice vocal buffs that a support Paragon could make great use of (Watch Yourself, Shields Up, Save Yourselves etc). The Warrior secondary also gives you a few more options for increasing your rate of adrenaline gain, which can help you fire off your adrenal skills more often in combat. I think it meshes well

My Paragon went off the beaten path. Instead of what works well with the paragon, I went with, what does the Paragon lack.

Thus, I went P/Me. Paragons have a horrible hex removal and since paragons have condition removal and a hard rez, I chose the hex removal from the Mesmer.

Paragons naturally gain energy from shouts, but inspiration magic to remove hexes on him/herself can also give you energy.

I don't think there are many useful skills that would benefit the Paragon, but hex removal I think is a good thing.

Paragons do have a hex removal, but yea it is kinda weak. I made my paragon P/W due to the shout thing that Toutatis said. I made him half spear damage dealer and half protection (Theyre on Fire, WY and Anthem of Flame)

With all my characters he made the group (H/H) the most survivable. I could get a triple aggro, and the party keeps chugging away without too many deaths. I just didnt want to go full shout protections cause it gets kinda boring and wanted to do some damage.
