'sin build for just entering kaineng center?
In Winters Ash
Could anyone shed some light on a build for 'sins just out of the newb island, and that have access to kaineng center skills? (I also have dragons throat, which has a skill trainer, dunno if it has any new skills to the kaineng center one..) (i also have nightfall and prophecies if that helps...) lvl 20 aswell.
Thanks !
Thanks !

Well, with Assassin tomes being priced the way they are now, even a newer player can afford to buy tomes, and getting 1,000 Balthazar faction is easy if you have a guild - just go AB. My suggestion is to go to gw.gamewikis.org and go to "Assassin skills quick reference". Remember that you need a lead attack, off-hand attack, and dual attack in most cases. Just read the skill descriptions carefully and piece a build together, then on the skill pages it will tell you where you get the skills. If it's somewhere you've been, buy it. If it's somewhere else, grab a tome =).
I'll try to post an actual build when I have time in a few hours.

Well.. You should be able to use this (Couldn't think of anything else atm)
[skill]Unsuspecting Strike[/skill][skill]Fox Fangs[/skill][skill]Death Blossom[/skill][skill]Horns of The Ox[/skill][skill]Falling spider[/skill][skill]Twisting Fangs[/skill][skill]Shadow Refuge[/skill][skill]Resurrection Signet[/skill]

A good elite for new sins is [skill]Palm Strike[/skill]. It's in Bukdek Byway, accessible from KC, and even allows for an unconditional lead attack skip.
http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Kenshi_Steelhand
That link gives you a map to where you can cap the skill. If you don't know how to cap, all you have to do is buy a Signet of Capture from the skill trainer, put it in your bar, kill the boss whose skill you want, use the cap sig, select skill, done.
If you choose to cap this, another good bar would be
[skill]Palm Strike[/skill][skill]Horns of the Ox[/skill][skill]Falling Spider[/skill][skill]Twisting Fangs[/skill][skill]Blades of Steel[/skill][skill]Shadow Refuge[/skill][skill]Death's Charge[/skill][skill]Resurrection Signet[/skill]
Blades of Steel can be replaced with any Dual Attack, such as Death Blossom, for use if you have Twisting Fangs recharging or you don't have the energy to use it. Pick either Death's Charge or [skill]Heart of Shadow[/skill] for a Shadow Step and a spike heal, and if you are a /Mo, you might want to consider bringing a different res skill such as [skill]Resurrection Chant[/skill]
Hope this helps. ZeAlix's build works too if you don't want to cap an elite, just know that Palm Strike is an easy one to use and allows a more diverse bar at times, plus you'll want an elite skill sooner or later =).

IMO, go for this:
Attributes:
12+1/11+1+1 Dagger Mastery (Depending on what attribute your headpiece gives)
10+2+1/11+2 Critical Strikes (Depending on what +attribute your headpiece gives)
8+1 Shadow Arts
Note:
the +1's and +2's on the attributes are from runes that attach to your armor that you can buy from a rune trader.
[skill]golden fox strike[/skill][skill]wild strike[/skill][skill]death blossom[/skill][skill]shadow refuge[/skill][skill]heart of shadow[/skill][skill]critical agility[/skill][skill]critical defenses[/skill][skill]critical eye[/skill]
You're going to need to go over to Nightfall and get at least the first sunspear rank for Critical Agility (only the armor scales, not the IAS, or Increased Attack Speed skill). Also, if you want a res and have /Mo or /Rt secondary, replace one of your self-heals with [skill]Resurrection Chant[/skill] or [skill]Death Pact Signet[/skill]. Otherwise, it should get you through until you can cap Moebius Strike.

Well.. I would probably advice something like you suggested Jaigoda..but.. one thing... Golden Fox Strike is a nightfall skill, which he can't get a kaineng..

flashing blade is a good skill for pve so you don't get insta-pwned

Flashing Blades is counter-productive, IMO, as you have to be attacking to get the blocks, at which time you should probably be running away. Critical Defenses outstrips it in nearly every area if you have something like Critical Eye/Strike on your bar.

ONLY if you Shadow Step in, in my experience. Because of the conditional blocking, you've got to be attacking instantly, which is quite easy with Death's Charge.
P.S. Jaigoda's attribute point settings are good for my posted build as well. Matter of fact, it's generally a good balanced Assassin attribute setup. Coloneh
pick up flashing blades and a short recharge chain. flashing blades will keep you alive when you dont have the attributes and skills to effectively use critical agility/defenses.
not blowing up is good. Musei Karasu
[skill]flashing blades[/skill][skill]Jagged Strike[/skill] [skill]wild strike[/skill] [skill]death blossom[/skill] [skill]death's charge[/skill]
Flashing blades can work extremely well, that combo right there got me through all of factions when I was a n00b. The short combo will take down almost any target and spread some AoE around too. It recharges extremely quickly, and flashing blades is easy to acquire. X Cytherea X
you can just walk, from the marketplace. lol srsly............. -_______-
RavagerOfDreams
use the standard death blossom chains golden fox->wild strike->death blossom
crit agility + crit defenses + crit eye optional for last slot when you get far enough get moebius strike ^_^ ZeAliX

Ahh.. sry.. missed that.. but I just thought of the fact that he only had access to skills in kaineng In Winters Ash
Thanks all . One more newb question. I have about 3k Balthazar? Faction points or whatever, can I go to the island then head to random arenas, and buy moebius strike? since that seems to be one of the best elites
Jaigoda
You'll still have to get an Elite Assassin Tome to be able to use it on your PvE 'Sin. Pretty sure they go for around 4-6k, though I'm not really sure as I've never bought one. If you've got a little extra cash lying around to buy one, go ahead, but you're not too bad off without it until you get into the later areas of Factions (at which point you should be able to cap MStrike).
