600/smite HM Ooze pit?
Killah K
Just wondering if anyone has been able to do this.... i tried it out with the CoF 600/smite build and made it to the three Prismatic Oozes in the end but wasn't able to kill any of them because of their self heal skill Gelatinous Absorption........ then i tried it with Pain inverter (took out LOD)but still no luck, maybe it was because of my Asura rank not being high enough.... Has anyone had any luck with doing this? what skills should i try using/replace?

yeah I've been there.... Really frustrating not being able to kill them at the end. I gave up the first time with my hero, Second time went with a buddy, he tried +1+1 on smite still didn't do enough damage.
Then I discovered if you run in a circle while the Gelatinous Absorption is in effect they hit you less often. Just stop running when it is off.
ps. With a 600rt, the damage output is higher than their self heal.

them being boss-like foes + HM = a lot faster than 30 sec cooldown. i'm not sure how you'd go about doing it, as i've never done the run myself.

I went in a group with a 600 rit and they had no problem killing the last 3 oozes. It just took a while but with vwk and vengeful weapon spamming they went down easy.

Additionally, what about Soul Leech on the smiter? (he can disable bonds for the bosses)

Two guys in my guild did it, i've never tried it as i'm lazy and my monk hasnt done warband yet
I think they just used a straight up BiP smiter and then a 600 as per CoF but swapped out the Arcane Echo/Blessed Sig/LOD/Whatever for Conjure Nightmare and spec'd it at about 6-8 i believe.
They said it was pretty dodgy but it worked, haven't tried myself but might help

Did it with a my monk and a hero a few weeks ago, i swapped MoR for Fleeting Stability just in case Spellbreaker wears off before u killed the Earthbind oozes.
For the 3 Ozzes in the end, i backed up when they activated their Self heal and let them run between me and their spawn point 2 or 3 times then just let them whack you and repeat as soon as they activate their heal again^^
Sry 4 my baad english, i just woke up and it isn't my native language

hmm i think i'll have to try it with the strategy from Rubain and Simple Farmer.... it does make sense if you run around they barely hit you and if they barely hit you they can't self heal.... Wish i had my Rt Far intro EOTN to try 600Rt/Smiting Dungeons, it seems like a quicker option since it has more damage output.......Thank You Everyone for your suggestions

Standard 600HP Monk tank with Smite Bonder can do this, just run around in circles when the prismatic use their self-heal. If you're just interested in the end-chest, bring along a Famine Ranger with EoE to make things go super fast...finished the dungeon in 15 minutes in HM.

the stormcloud incubus uses
Soulrending Shriek - Target foe takes 40 damage. If target is Enchanted, that foe loses one Enchantment and is Dazed for 8 seconds.
How do you get around that?

Literally go around.
You have to backtrack a bit but there is another path to the boss.

1. Target one ooze
2. Make it beat you until he cast his monster skill
3. Run around counting 15 seconds
4. Goto 2 until it is dead.
5. Cast sb, deal with smaller oozes
6. Go to 1 until no prosmatics remains
7. type /rank and claim your treasure
All with the classic 600/smite build.
Forgot: don't use sb while beating prismatics alone. Making them cast while they chase you is good, they stay back, don't hit you, and thus they don't gain health, making it faster.

I accidentally finished it with 600/smite succesfully. I took life siphon just for fun and found out in the end that it would have been a lot harder without it.

wow that's cool, rezha.
I've been there with a E/Me hero and let him use MS (with "Echo" or "Arcane Echo")... a bit easier I felt. But rezha's way seems better
And I bring "Arcane Echo" instead of "Mantra of Resolve" as fowlero said.
This makes "Shimmering Ooze" (the annoying Mesmer enemy as you know) shut up and save not a little time in total.
Btw here's the map for avoiding Incubus...Ooze Pit.jpg
