how bout this Y DOESN"T ANET JUST through us another bone about gw2. i wnt to kno. it could be a portal back in time to where u can bring ur old chars back. but only opens when u do a certain requirment and do certain stuff or sumthin

when they're safe and XXX number of years later, a descendent of some guy that was there tells you of the old family legend of how they escaped, you go back, find enterance, get cool stuff, go kill some dragons.

I will say right now that the dumbest ideas on this thread (which should be close, imo) are "A portal to GW2" and "A portal to GW1 to get the stuff", basically anything that has the word "portal" in it. A hallway cannot be a portal, tyvm.
If anything, it will be a backdoor to the room after the rest of the building gets destroyed. What I believe will happen is that it has absolutely NO SIGNIFICANCE.

Am I a bad person for thinking that maybe the supposed tunnel is just eye candy and our GW2 characters find the current Hall of Monuments 250 years on instead, rather than having an ultra uber mega hyper awesome tiem portall luzl?
