Back Door Out Of Hall Of Monuments!!

The "door"/"path" there is quite old, actually. It was there since day 1 of GW:EN, even of the preview, if we want to nitpick.

Well, imagine it with a glowing "portal" thingie like we have it in GW1.

Our personal HoM will probably be our personal instance and have some stuff of the past stored there.

Wasn't it just a tapestry back during the preview, before they updated it to be automatically there?

Nope it was the same as it is now.

The only thing that changed of the HoM since the preview event, unless I'm mistaken, was the armor section. Before now it was just a bronze statue of 1 random male armor and 1 random female armor *not really random but 2 different professions* being one statue for each armor. I know the hero and title areas are the same, cannot say for the mini pet stop and of course destroyer weapons was unattainable during the preview event.

Idle speculation like that fails, why don't we assume on the 11th of November, 2011....(at 11:11:11) you get to fight Afflicted-Margonite Gwen?

You've not attuned your mind correctly. Behind the monument is a dark space from which your ?statue? emerges as you progress in the KoaBD title track. Obviously that has to be a door to GW2.

The OP is really going to trip when he gets to Flame Temple Corridor and see the three blocked zone gateways in the Charr temple.

Been a LONG time since I was there, and I don't remember those. Will have to check that out.

Maybe the statu is a Mech, when ur gw2 char finds he/she/it uses it to kill the dragons...

Its the entrance to your Guild Hall so you can take guildmembers into your HoM to brag about all your titles. You need to unlock r12 pheonix to activate it.

i recon there will be special thing where your character gains access to the mists where as hes gettin too old he decides to stay. My monk is 250 years old and fed up of being ressed

Your GW1 char is innocently placing his/hers favorite statue into place then BLOOOOOOOSSSSSSSSSSSSSSHEEEEEE!!!!!! a massive, underwater exsplosion effect kills your char indefinatly,as your GW1 char dies his grand-son steps out of the portal and quotes "I wonder what happened to this non-to-good looking fellow"...
