Guild Wars 2 Title cap??

The maximum number of displayable achievements at each monument are:
5 heroes or pets in the Monument of Fellowship
20 miniatures in the Monument of Devotion
5 title or accomplishment statues in the Monument of Honor
5 armor sets in the Monument of Resilience
11 Destroyer Weapons in the Monument of Valor

There are rumors of a title cap for gw2 permeating throughout the guild wars community.

In relation to the title accomplishments.... is their a cap on the title level you submit into the hall of monuments? E.g. the hero title, is it permissable to input the title legendary hero[rank 15], or does it cap out at a certain hero rank for example Vanquishing Hero [rank 8]?

No, to answer your question. There is no cap. Why would there be? The statue is the same whether you have r8 or r14, doesn't matter.

You realize that in GW2 all your titles are gonna be combined into a million gold pieces and then this alien is gonna fly out of your arse and then you hang a left by the purple rock over there and if you use the /slap command while fighting a Oni you get a secret mini pet only if you purchased 17 character slots from the in-game store.

I'm confused on whether you're asking about a cap in GW2 on what rank your titles need to be, or a cap on how many titles you can transfer to GW2.

A cap on rank already exists in the HoM. A cap on the number of titles might be stupid, because it seems like it would ruin the idea of going for GWAMM and transferring the status to GW2.

Are you certain theres a cap on rank? And to address the second question review the first post on the thread.

What I hope is that those titles turn into anything BUT titles for GW2. Titles ruined Guild Wars, they should not exist in the next game. Blizzard got rid of them at some point, let's hope ANet does too.

If by that you mean that once the title is maxed it can't go any higher, or that there are only so many titles, then yes, in that sense there is a cap.

Otherwise, there isn't. You can only add so many titles to you HOM because only so many exist. That's not really a cap, it's how it exists.

And we won't know about a title cap in GW2 (although the idea seems ridiculous) until it comes out.
