EDIT: Also, I doubt there are enough Chinese and Indonesian gold farmers to farm that much gold in under a year. Fake bid is fake.

Even if it was real... seriously, it would be stupid to pay that much for it since ArenaNet would be well within their rights to delete it just to laugh at people who bought it. It's their game, after all, and to be honest, if I was ArenaNet, I'd be screwing around with the high-end traders all the time by seeing how much gold/ectos/whatev they'd pay for an item I would slip briefly into a drop list (like, say, a +10/hit zealous mod with no energy degen), and then deleting said item after someone purchases it. I would then repeat that until they get over themselves and stop paying inordinate amounts of gold for such items. My excuse would be, "It was removed for balance issues."
