Lets say I have a Blessed Obsidian Chest of Superior Vigor. If I use perfect salvage kits to take off the insignia and rune, I am left with a bare obsidian chest.

Now lets just ASSUME its the warrior chest, which is made of:

-Glob of Ectoplasm
-Obsidian Shard
-Iron
-D. Steel

If I use a perfect salvage kit, is there a higher chance of getting rare materials over common materials?

I thought you couldn't salvage mates from a piece using a perfect kit, because then.. wouldn't you still have the piece of armor?

Never used a perfect salvage for materials before, but I suspect you'll just get a bunch of iron ingots or at best deldrimor steel ingots.

Do us all a favour and give it a go
