Okay, so a friend just gave me a razotech transformer case.

I'm currently hooking everything up and coming from the case is a "Micro SW" wire, which has a pin to plug into the board, and split off into a switch.

I have an Asus M2A-VM and can't not for the life of me figure out where to plug this switch.

Is there anything on the board that could be labeled something different?

in the manual for the panel that holds the pwr switch and led's etc it lists

Pwersw, reset sw, ide led, pled, speaker

which, those leds are useless to me because the case doesn't have a hdd led or anything.

The case does have a front Transformers logo that lights up and the micro sw wire seems to be coming from there so my guess is the pwr led however I still can't figure out what the switch would then before.

Any help would be great, kind of in a hurry to get this running xD

15 seconds of googling would suggest the wire's used for chassis intrusion detection, a feature that lets the computer detect and possibly sound an alarm if someone opens the case. It might be of some use with a remote computer server or something, but for a desktop it's pretty much useless and many motherboards don't support it anyway.

Just leave the wire there, and if the computer works just forget about it

so, I got everything hooked up - all worked fine without the switch of course.

After rechecking everything I realized the "Micro SW" plastic casing was swapped from another case - more than likely to accommodate the pwr led in a different case - or to make the LED act as HDD light.

So, I took the 3 pin PWR LED casing from the wires on my old case, swapped them plugged it in to the PWR LED space and all is going well.
