55 Mo in Tombs

I can't find a good guide to do tombs as a solo 55 monk. I tried youtube, google, and the forum search. I tried on my own since I have experience in uw and hard mode areas in tyria but some spells ignored my Protective Spirit coming from the Grasp of Insanity. I heard people talk of the beach, but I have no idea how to get there without being cake faced by these gragoyles ¬.¬

Anyone have a little advice to share? Much appreciated. Thanks
