question for vanshishing

hi i have been looking on the wiki and it shows areas for vanishinging but i want to no can you get the vanquisher title from doing in any area

not "any". To get the title you must vanquish ALL AREAS of one game (GWEN excluded). There's another title if you vanquish all areas of the 3 games I think (can't remember).

so i cannot just vanqish any areas if i want title i have to do certain ones

To get a Vanquisher title you have to successfully vanquish all explorable areas (Doesnt matter which order) of a Continent (Tyria,Cantha or Elona) in Hard Mode. When you have completed all the areas that show up on the map (For example there are 54 areas in Tyria that need vanquishing) you get a "X Vanquisher title eg for Tyria it would be Tyrian Vanquisher.

If you complete all 3 continents and get the Tyrian,Canthan and Elonian Vanquisher title you get an additional title called Legendary Vanquisher.

yes but not when you enter the mission itself , the explorable area of it.

U have nice explanation on Wiki about Vanquishing plus total numbers of area in every continent u must Vanquish to get to Legendary Guardian title!

To clarify, in Tyria all missions happen in exclusive areas that you can't access without entering the respective mission. These do not count towards the vanquishing title track (but Tyria is still by far the largest part).

In Cantha, there are still mission specific areas but with the difference that once you have successfully completed the mission you will be able to enter the area from other side as a normal explorable with different content. These do count towards the title.

In Elona, there are just normal explorables that you can traverse freely except for certain choke points that only get unlocked as the story progresses. Missions happen in instanced versions of these explorables with mission specific content. All the areas count towards the title.

In EotN the mission/area mechanics are the same as in Elona but there isn't any separate vanquish title for it. Instead, the points go to a composite title Master of the North which covers vanquishing, cartography and mission and dungeon completion both in NM and HM.

Just go into every explorable(except DoA!) and kill everything. You have your title.

yes there are a few areas in elona that dont count (the hidden city and the caverns come to mind as well as torment)....otherwise you need to vanquish most of what you can see----
