Some advice Please.

Hay,
I've been playing for about 3 months, and I've built mainly workhorse characters. Now that I've collected some coin, I'm going to start one of my projects, a labor of love if you like. This is the build I used to escape from the "Isle of Noob". I'm currently level 16
[card]Merciless Spear[/card][card]Blazing Spear[/card][card]Anthem of Flame[/card][card]"They're on Fire!"[/card][card]"Watch Yourself!"[/card]"There's Nothing To Fear!"[card]"Shields Up!"[/card][card]Aggressive Refrain[/card]
I will be mainly using Racthoh's imbagon build, hence I need to scuttle of to Cantha to get Save Yourselves. Should I stay on Elona and capture Focused Anger first or will Aggressive Refrain suffice for my adrenaline? I use a spear with the furious mod. When I do aquire Save Yourselves I will most likely drop blazing spear, anthem of flame, they're on fire as it seems like defensive overkill to me. I will be left with
[card]Merciless Spear[/card][card]Blank[/card][card]Focused Anger[/card]"Save Yourselves!"[card]"Watch Yourself!"[/card]"There's Nothing To Fear!"[card]"Shields Up!"[/card][card]Aggressive Refrain[/card]
Still kinda defensive IMO, so if I bench the tactics skills I will be left with no e-management skill, so I'll add [card]"Go for the Eyes!"[/card] chance to crit, e-management, nice. Now my primary questions.
[card]Merciless Spear[/card][card]Blank[/card][card]Focused Anger[/card]"Save Yourselves!"[card]blank[/card]"There's Nothing To Fear!"[card]"Go for the Eyes!"[/card][card]Aggressive Refrain[/card]
A) Any horrible flaws in this build? Remember I never built a paragon before.
B) Is "TNTF" and "SY" enough defensive capability?
C) If so suggest some good skills to fill in the blanks in my build. Don't bother adding skills from the agent title as it will take me time to grind it out.

[skill=text]"For Great Justice!"[/skill] would be good to add.

SY + FA should be enough energy management and i'll grab a vampiric spear mod, furious is...quite bad...

Pfft you have been playing just 3 months and have that? Wish others caught on as nicely as you. Usually you see them with mending heal breeze healing hands and heal sig all on the same bar ^^
As far as to help you. Remember Save Yourself only affects teammates. Yes it is crazy awesome defense. If you are going to run SY then I would drop Agressive and take focused. I would also drop watch yourself because you should be able to spam SY with a high enough luxon/kurz rank. Wich you can easily get kurz maxed in a weekend hardcore leeching off of hfff. I would choose different attacks as well. I would drop blazing for a more spamable adrenaline based attack and try to fit in GftE.

Drop the best IAS offered for a Paragon?
You CAN use FA and AR at the same time you know.

Thanks all some nice insight there. So its starting to take shape nicely now.
[card]Merciless Spear[/card][Spear of Fury][Still Blank][Still blank][There's Nothing to Fear][Save Yourselves!][card]Aggressive Refrain[/card][card]Focused Anger[/card]
One blank is for the PVE agent title skill whichever one I choose, when I grind it out. The other I will have to figure out, I'm thinking a Cheap but useful shout to maintain Aggressive Refrain.
@tyla salanari: Aye I got vamp modded spear, just thought furious was more useful until I capture Focused Anger.

I would take out Merciless Spear for another energy spear attack because you generally want SY as the only adrenaline skill on your bar when running Save Yourselves.
Since one blank is for agent title skill already, the other could be For Great Justice, so you can have additional adrenaline gain 100% of the time to pump out Save Yourselves.
There's Nothing To Fear is enough to maintain Aggressive Refrain at 12 Leadership if you can spam it on recharge, there is a 1 second window.
You're a lot better then most of the people who have been playing a long time

Thanks Shaz, you right about Merciless spear I had been using for deep wound on pesky healers as Koss cant be relied on. Nice to hear I don't need to put in a less than optimal skill in to maintain Aggressive Refrain though.

You'll have to choose 3.

"There's Nothing to Fear!" at 12 Leadership will refresh Aggressive Refrain.

Like Shaz said you should only have SY as your only adrenaline skill.
For another attack, I would recommend either Spear of Lightening (really begininning to love this one) or Vicious attack.
And you already selected a pretty good PvE spear attack-Spear of Fury. If I wasn't rolling around with the Battlestandard I would have this one on all the time lol.
And since noone has answered...yea SY and TNtF are all you really need for damage reduction. Depending on your area and foes that's about a 60-80% damage reduction for your party. You on the other hand will only get the TNtF bonus about half the time....but since you're a midrange guy, most enemies will ignore you anyways.

Yes he's right, SY and TNTF are really all you need, anything more would be too much. Honestly you are the only one who needs TNTF anyway.

That's pretty much the truth.
My war. runs DSlash/SY! and with just SY!, most enemies hit for 3-5 pts. in NM.
My guild's monk has actually yelled at me for being bored XD

I like TNTF mainly because of the heal at the end which can more or less cover all the small damage taken while occasionally topping off

Ha, thanks all again...yesterday didn't happen due to getting smashed with the boys, but when my double vision clears I'll get right back to it. That being said before I went out I captured [card]Cruel Spear[/card], YEAH BABY is all I can say that thing hits hard Love It...(my next build). I've got [card]Vicious Attack[/card], and [card]Swift Javelin[/card], I'll put them though their paces later on.
@the ruloes: School boy error by me there, I thought "TNTF" was a paragon skill, good catch. However it will be long time before I have to make a choice as I gotta grind out a Faction title before completing Nightfall to capture all the good elites, and then move onto Agent title.
When I got lazy with my monk I would just bond my H/H and cruise control PVE, there was still a element of danger though, enchantment stripping, me taking massive damage and the bonds collapsing. I gotta say the Paragon takes this to the next level.
