Hi, I'd like to play at the same time as my girlfriend, we have 2 computers and all the chapters each, (prof, gw:en, nf, fac) but would there be a problem as we are on the same ip? as we live in the same apartment, is this possable?

yeah, it's possible.

As long as you have 2 accounts you'll be fine.

You can have as many as you want running on the same internet, more then a couple comps simultaneously running GW would decrease speed a bit, but overall, it works just fine.

The key is what speed is the internet you're using; if you're on dial-up, I wouldn't try it. If you're on low-end DSL, you'll probably notice some lag. If you're on mid to high-end DSL or better, then you should be alright. AFAIK, GW uses the login and pw for your account to identify who is playing. Since you and your GFG each have your own accounts, it shouldn't be a problem...

call your ISP and make sure you have a dynamic rather than static IP, then each comp connected to your modem gets a different IP.

Or just get a router as they hand out internal lan ip adresses to a max of 127 computers, some even more.

Static or dynamic IP doesnt make a bit of difference.

To the OP, i frequently login on my second account on my other system, no problems here.
