Petition- for Icy Dragon Swords to have any inscription.

I would like the Icy Dragon Sword to be able to have any perfect 'Mod'. In other words...

Icy Dragon Sword
Icy Damage
+5 energy
+20% enchanments

Why Would you want this?
Because at the moment you can not get an Icy Dragon Sword With other mods. So i can't have a defencive sword.

Why not make it inscriptiable?
Because then it would be a way to always get a perfect Inscription.

Why not make it a perfect Inscription
because it is the only weapon in the game, that is not green that has always got a perfect inscription(excludes crafted weapons, eg. Tormented, Destroyer ect.)

Defense and Enchanting aren't inscriptions

They only drop in proph and proph weps are not inscrip simple as that and I look at them as semi-moddable greens, your lucky you can even choose the prefix/suffix.

There realy isnt much use of having it have an insription slot. Skin? Someone wants a caster sword fine there is plenty of other skins to choose from. Dont like that idea? get good with Textmod and fancy up an insribable Fiery Dragon Sword.

some of you didn't read the post. i don't want them to become inscriptable just have any 'Inscriptions'. argh how to say it...
like any prophecies drop can have a +5 energy but not an IDS so i want them to, you get me?

Basically, that they should have a random chance of dropping with any perfect, innate, mod that in other portions of the game is editable with inscriptions?

Anyway, /notsigned. The IDS was a special easter egg, though newer players probably know nothing of it. The 15^50% is treated as an inherent mod, just like its icy hilt. And rather then a "semi-moddable green", its more of a template for the later pre-order items.

If you wanted a defensive sword, you can still add a of Defense pommel(or Warding/Shelter). Otherwise find a FDS for your caster swords.

It's fine as it is, if its not broke don't fix it.

IDS is a pretty unique one of a kind item, it's almost like a green but it can be modded with a sword pommel. It's an unique and commonly recognized item, and you want to make it just like every other sword in game... a next step would be a petition to make the Icy part changable, for moar sunderingzor stupidity.

A much more acceptable possibility would be to add a possible chance that the IDS will drop with an inherent +5 Energy (+5E weapons drop in Tyria anyway), to make things more interesting. But still I'm not in favor of such a change.

Also /notsigned for adding a moddable IDS as a drop from some highend chests. Creating another versions of them would kill the uniqueness of the original ones. Prophecies already has very few 'unique' weapons compared to other campagins, this change would reduce the number by another 1, the most special 1.

Dunno will i sign or not. yeah many other ppl allready suggested this.. and yeah it would be cool. But yeah i prefer non insc stuff cause i hate inscription.

so In my opinions it should drop with +5ene and 15^50 and not have insc slot..

I'd like to see the current IDS just drop as unid and have it be able to have any mods any Tyrian sword could, without an inscription. Maybe add it to the Wintersday chest too for inscription versions.

Ice > Fire, I'd love to have a +5 FDS and a -5 IDS for a caster.
