Another Game Stole From GW?

While i was waiting for my brother to get of my computer to play some GW, i saw that he was in the "cash shop" for maple story, he was looking at weapons he can buy for real life money( i have no clue) and i saw something that made me say, what the hell.

A flame sword isn't a very original idea. It's not just Guild Wars' idea.

...and "stealing" ideas isn't illegal.

Flame sword was from final fantasy as I recall

GW should steal the bouquet and pink angle sticks as weapons. I think that the latter would make for an omega cool scythe.

Wait...which OTHER games stole from GW? As far as I know, GW uses the same cliche MMO stuff that every game uses...

I'm sorry, but if thats what an FDS looks like when you're running GW, its seriously time for you to update your vid card.

And while you're at it, get your brother to stop playing Maple Story and paying money for a bunch of pixels(and ugly ones at that).

It's a bit amusing that no-one see the pretty obvious similarity there, but a lot of people claim that this:

well the sword does look exactly like FDS

Actually, its from mythology and religion, therefore everyone can use it. The only way its stealing is if they use the exact same graphic the fds in GW uses, and that Maple story flame sword is far from it.

The only thing the Maple Story sword doesn't have is the rigid blade sections of the GW FDS. I saw immediately the dragon mouth hilt similarity.

eitherway, ripoff or not, it all plays the same. ^^
