This is a fun build for pve which works reasonably well, and is a fun break from healing and protting, which can get boring when with heroes all the time.

Basicly use skills in order, its a bit energy intensive. They usually nearly die from you're combo, if not you're heroes will help you out. I wouldnt recommend using this build with a pug coz they'll probs shout at you.
Its funny to watch a monk killing things, and that was my main purpose for this build.
(I run this with the 3 necro-build in HM and by the time you've killed you're target, u can basically change targets, reuse sins promise and use finish him)

But if you are, I guess that proves how good those 3 necro's are; if not I'd rather see your heroes their builds. I take you are taking something that is casting [skill=text]Protective Spirit[/skill] on you, you should really consider what would happen to your monk if they kick the bucket, or as seems to happen with me, run out of energy. With Deaths charge recharging alot, you can teleport around alot, (the heal is negligable, but avoiding danger isnt). Also, knowing which target to attack, when etc really helps. Finally dont stay there when you're getting hit, run away, change target and go again.
Also, i didnt say this build is great, just really fun to play, funny to watch and overall enjoyable. I wanted to share this with other people. Finally, i have done it with sabway (assuming thats wat its called.) and also just a general 3 hero 4 hench build consisting of: SS WoH/Prot Dunkoro MindBlast Rodgorts Spammer ele The last spot can be changed for others, but i like this in nm. In HM i usually use sabway. I did all of EOTN HM (not dungeons coz i havent gotten round to it yet) with this build in 2 days, trying half-heartedly, so its not entirely crap. But it works really well if u use it with sabway, coz u can kill fast allowing minions spawning, and then u can gain lots of energy from sins promise then finish him. Spamming those 2 nets 1 energy, and allows for faster killings. Or, if there is something still on lots of health, quick kill. Finally the constant KD of its spike allows efficient kill of monks etc because they cant cast. JDRyder

Shadow Fang>>Death Charge, because 1) it is a 1/4s cover hex on AP 2) after the kill it teleports you back to your backline, where you are safe.
I use two signets instead of one of the strike skill and on the optional slot: bane and castigation. The sigs save(give) you energy and let you kill from range, so you rarely have to be in front line, and you can use YMLD as an interrupt. If used well, it is a powerful pve build, with DPS 70 and above (unlike all other smiter builds which are barely more than 30). Luminarus

And its recharge is on par with AP so that should work. Although, I dont actually use AP then combo if there is hex removal, or any chance it wont kill, so it rarely gets removed. Personally I prefer strike to bane/castigation because the damage is alot more, and allows me to bring Pain Inverter if i want. Also, y bother attacking from backline if u got one of the strike skills (coz u only took one out) |
