merch value of a gold item

I got a gold item today worth 615 gold, I've never seen one this high so I was curious if other people have seen any higher.

Thanks to that "Show Me The Money!" it really got high in price.
My personal highest was around 530-540 and that also had the Show Me The Money on it.

I think the highest I have gotten was around 450-500g. It had the show me the money inscription on it as well... But never seen one that could be merched for that much

It does say underneath all of the inscriptions and mods the value if you look closely.

I've had a few around 550+, not uite 600+though. The rares from the hidden treasures seem to have increased merch vanues so i guess adding ashow me the money to one of those could get 600+.

What I'd really love to know is how the merch price is determined. I've had crap skins with crap mods with a higher merch value than rare skins with perfect/near perfect mods. That makes no sense.

The highest I have is 508g for an uninscribable Offhand and then several inscribable ones at ~430g without the "Show Me The Money".

I have a few shields worth aroudn 420g, the bow i use is 465g. They have no money inscriptions on them.
Is there some default ratio of merchant value to what a player should pay for it? Cause I'd love to sell of of my 400g plus stuff is the price as right.

My highest gold item has 536 (also a gold Ancient Daggers!, I think they dropped from a free Treasure Chest but not sure), haven't tried putting a "Show me the Money" on them. That should add another +63 or something like that.
And here's a small GW trivia question:
What is ANY 1 single item that has the highest *Merchant* sale value in GW?
(stacks don't count obviously, or a stack of Lockpicks would win that)

I've had around 600 on a gold before with that inscription. Well, once or twice. I've been looking to try and get that again recently, but it's quite hard to push it beyond 500.
