I'm seeing some odd graphics glitches in Guild Wars. I'm running it on a laptop that has the Intel 965 Express video chipset. I have the newest drivers installed. I'd like to mention also that these glitches appeared once I formatted the machine and downgraded to XP. When I was on Vista, again with the newest Vista drivers, I had zero glitches.
So has anyone else had this issue? Is there a known fix? Should I just wait and hope that Intel's future drivers for this chipset somehow fix this issue?
Aside from the weird lines seen here, I also noticed that the footprints on the ground sometimes are just orange rectangles. There are probably more glitches I haven't seen yet. I can also sometimes get rid of the glitches temporarily by flipping random graphics settings inside GW, but they tend to come right back within a few minutes.

Apparently the newest video drivers (v6.14.10.4906) were the cause. I downgraded to 6.14.10.4785, which was what Acer's site was offering for my Acer laptop, and it seems to have cured the glitches. Performance may have taken a hit though.
So let this be a lesson. Sometimes your machine's manufacturer is a better bet for drivers than the actual chip's manufacturer.

I'll be downgrading soon...by the way, do you know how "Eye of the North" performs on this chipset? I'm using a MacBook ;P
