Am i alone on this?

Since the inception of titles I have only played my monk. I will not grind out titles on multiple characters but I do want a pimp HoM. Due to this I feel forced to stick to a single character. Most of my guildies feel the same way. So, in a sense, Anet has fostered this mentality among us.

Kudos to those of you who have time and energy to duplicate titles across multiple chacters, I could not do it.

My feeling on what you are likely to get passing into GW2 would be maybe a title depending what you achieve in GW.

Armour or special weapons passing over and maybe access to a pet from gw.

The armour and weapons will be no better than gw2 "maybe worse" just the skin will be rare.
The pet would be a decendant of your gw pet so get breeding black moas now

Its just possible that you might get more but I doubt it.

I've been working on a lot of titles recently, and I think the main reason for that is because of GW2, however, like has been said, I think most people are reasonably aware that what you unlock in the second game with your titles isn't going to be groundbreaking, or even anything that gives you any sort of advantage over others. But unique unlockables are still fun, and I'm still only going after titles that I actually care about and think will be reasonably fun to achieve.

I'm not going to do something I hate for some silly unlockables. And if it's giving more people a reason to continue to play the game, I can only see it as a good thing.

I have been working on my KoaBD title for a long while now. Well before they announce GW2. Why? Because when I play a game I try to play it through to 100%. Especially if it is some sort of RPG with a lot of side quests and whatnot. Although some upgrades that others dont have is going to be nice in GW2. Even if they are cosmetic.

They announced GW2 way too early.

Titles actually brought me back to GW at one point. I've been playing for over 2 years, and last summer (before EotN) I was bored with the whole thing.

I've always been a bit of a pack rat/collector type...so titles were right up my alley. I "grind" them because I want to...not b/c I expect to get anything out of it in GW2.

QFT. I'm a monogamous gamer; if GW had nothing left for me I would have to go out and find a new love.

I'm only doing one hall for my main, and then only 10 titles for the rainbow phoenix. So it's not really not that bad for me. We do have at least a year after all.

imo I think a reward will be a new title that gets levels for max titles in GW1, i dont see Anet giving fighting benefits for title, also i think a possible reward could be nothing except the fact you can show off you HoM to GW2 noobs

That pretty much sums up my hate for the HoM. The HoM should be account-wide accomplishments, but now I'm just sticking to my ele instead of playing with my favorite character (mesmer) because my ele has been played more, is farther in the titles, and can actually get a PUG.
