Newb leveling

Is Minion Master the only way to level? Is there any other builds that are actually decent to level with... I don't really like minions and am more interested in blood or curses builds (I know about SS build, but SS comes later in the game).

help the newbie necro.

Oh and I plan to make my necro in Nightfall, but ferry to LA asap, because I hate NF.

Farm PvP balth faction, buy the SS skill, and then buy a necro Elite tome from selling a few Balth keys.

I was able to get through the early parts of the game using blood skills and henches. As soon as you get to beacons perch, get a run to Camp Rankor and cap ss. That'll carry you through the rest of the game.

Oh you're starting in NF, didn't see that. From Lion's Arch, get a run to beacons perch then to Camp Rankor to cap SS.
