No, you cannot.

Most gates in Factions are closed until you complete the proper mission/primary quest. So you can't get a run that far.

Nope you get stopped at Naphui Quarter and Thannakai (sp) Temple. There area guards that do not let you in and the gate is locked.
After Thannakai Temple the next locked gates are after Arborstone (next area is House of Zu Heltzer) and ...forgot the luxon side name Zhivros Channel?? (next area is Cavalon). The next gates after that are unlocked by getting the 10k of faction for the respective side.

Boreas Seabed, thats it, thanks Majik. Oh ok i never tried going around Temple. Are the missions in arborstone and boreas available if you avoid Thannakai(sp) Temple?
