going nuts over guild hall!!!!..help please!!

i have made a awesome guild but having the problem of when looking on the furoms i see alot about going to LA to get the sigents to get guild halls but i haven't seen where anyone says exactly how u get to LA..i'm level 12 in frost gate (dwarf place if i said the name wrong )i'm trying very hard to get this fundamentals of the rest of the guild hall things straight..if anyone can just put it all in a_b_c's for me and proably alot of other people i'd appreciate it ..thanks!!!!!!

That's illustrative of one of the flaws in this game... a level 12 who doesnt know where LA is, but hes ready to buy a hall.... sigh.

Can we please have a better hall system, ArenaNet? Something that rewards skill perhaps. Maybe don't allow the halls to be for sale.

Of course having to pay 30 to 40g for a sigil isnt all that easy either, esp if you dont have a core group of players that are willing to give up there cash and there upgrades...etc.....that should also weed out a few guilds..

do the missions and you will get there or look at the interactive map and go without map traveling (long/pretty dangerous)

i really like this game and i try to know alot about games i like..lol..plus everyone wants to pvp..lol..it brings out the best nad worst in people..lmao

how much do the guild halls cost and what exactly do i need ot do to be able to buy one. my guild leader is trying to buy one but we cant find how much they cost or where to buy one and i know this is a stupid post but please dont reply if your gona saysopemthing stupid like "Why would u ned one if you dont know where to get it."

Aside from that, you do not seem ready to have a guild hall. You would know what you needed once you were ready. Play the game a bit further and enjoy it, guild halls are something to keep you going end-game.

I just finished the Sanctum Cay mission and I could not believe the number of 12's and 13's that were there. There's so many people rushing through the game. That's what the PVP is for. Use the ready mades. I remember the shouts in Piken Square "Where's LA ." LA is in California.

The game is pretty easy. Do a mission, mission, walk some to the next mission, mission, walk some more, mission, mission. If you want to do quests along the way, they are great, but not entirely necessary. Most major towns have arenas. I don't know why LA's arena is capped at 17.

Once you get toward the end, everything will become clear about the guild hall.

BTW, most all of the information you ever need is actually in the game if you READ what the NPC says. I've only had two times where I got "stuck."

Lions Arch is the second town across the shiverpeaks, if you don't understand that you're not ready for a guild hall.

To get a guild hall you need a celestial sigil, to obtain one you must reach the tomb of primevil kings(I think thats the name) fight through it, fight through the hall of heros and then win in the hall of heros to obtain one as a winning prize

And I agree that they should be customized, sadly it would mean that we'd have like 1337 guilds of the core players and then every other guild would be spammed with nubs who just want to be in a guild with hall

No need to jump down someone's throat about what they do or don't deserve.. Meso asked a simple enough question folks. Please try and drop the 1337 attitudes in your answers and just pass the info if you have it.. or don't answer at all if all you want to do is tell him how he so undeserving in his ignorance.

Meso.. If you are in Frost Gate.. finish it.. move along to and then THRU the Gates of Kryta. That'll take you to Lions Arch. There is a dock area where you can take a tour of the various guild halls and try to purchase a Celestial Sigil from the vendor on each island. Honestly though you probably won't find one for sale there for several months. So you can try to find someone selling one, either in-game or on a forum board somewhere. Currently they are going for 25k - 30k on average.

Your only other option would be for your guild to win the Hall of Heroes.

I read somewhere in the forums that you can use a guild hall to store "group" items. That alone is enough for PvE only guilds to try.

Also, it seems that missions aren't readily explained anywhere. I have 3 post-seared characters and Monday was the first time I realized that the areas that had "mission" somewhere as a subtitle had a "mission" button in the Party menu that kicks off the actual mission. For a while, I thought the "Defend the Wall" mission was broke because I got 500xp just for talking to the dude on the soap box. I had no idea that there was a mission button I needed to click to do missions. I always thought that quests marked with a green (Primary) indicated missions. I now know that just isn't the case.

This info also indicates why so many people are zipping through the game - in pre-sear you had to walk to cities, in post-sear you get magically wisked to them. No need to walk, the Enterprise is ready to beam you through the game. I must say instant transport to unvisited areas really does take some of the fun out of GW. Fortunately, you can "beam back" and go where you need on foot. I just wish it wasn't "instant" and gave me the option to return to the mission's start area.

I just like to explore. Honest. Which sucks when it comes to getting a guild signet because unless you do the mandatory PvP and win in the hall of hero's you don't get a guild signet without forking out some GP to a weasle boy/girl who farms for them. There needs to be a PvE guild signet and a PvP "GOLD" signet that gives you the powers of both (like the oposite of the PG charater/PvP relationship). Nothing beats a nice guild hall to store extra quest items as "trophies".

I'm pretty sure winning HoH is not easy, you should be glad people are selling the sigils at all. Its not like there much to do with money after you've bought the best armor anywayz, so just fork over a little extra cash for the sigils. It's not like 35k is hard to get.

Finally, I think some people cry over the fact that guild sigils are expensive because they want a guild hall at something like level 12...

To win HoH you need to be ascended, and by that time you should have more than enough money to buy a sigil or 2.

IMHO, the guild leader should have to lead a group and win the Hall of Heroes to create a guild hall. This is coming from somebody (me) who doesn't PvP much at all. The purpose of a guild hall is for PvP ... best to keep the sigils out of the hands of people who aren't ready for the challenge of it ... just easy pickins' for those who are organized if you ask me.
