[card]Locust's fury[/card]
[card]Critical Eye[/card]
[card]Judge's Insight[/card]
[card]Strength of honor[/card]
[card]Shadow Refuge[/card]
[card]Resurrection Signet[/card]
optional-
[card]Death's Charge[/card]
[card]Mirrored stance[/card]
anything you'd like
Approximate Attributes-
dagger mastery 11+1+(1/2)
critical strikes 10+(2-3)
smiting prayers 8
rest into shadow arts +1
equipment- Zealous/Ebon/Vampyric Daggers of Enchanting/Fortitude
So with that you should be dual striking almost every hit, and critical striking quite often.
so you should do around 40ish dmg normal strikes, with about 54 on criticals
so thats about 48 continuous dps.
it's good(ish) for pressure

I would like to use this post to apologize to /sassi for starting that thread asking about this skill a few weeks ago. Since then, there have been 3 more threads about this skill.
@the op: Mirrored stance isn't all that great. Frankly the only place I'd use a build like this is if I was going into an undead heavy area... and then I'd probably use DB+MS while using Aura of Holy Might on myself.

The bottom line is that base dagger damage sucks no matter how high your critical % is. You can even maintain Strength of Honor if you really want to on a moebius bar. I'd take the "Save Yourselves" spammer over this.

1v1 sin builds are srs bsns, guys. Sin bars are determined by how well you can 1v1 another sin. Listen to tehshadowninjar, he knows everything. After all, he *did* post that epic "Low DPS assassin" build.
I think the last time I used locusts fury was during dualsmite, when I was testing out characters that were capable of pressure-spiking with both locusts and an attack combo. Obviously, not needing to carry the smite skills myself freed up a lot of attribute and skill slots (and with the smites coming from a monk, it gave me a lot more +damage).

So I did go and hit the DPS master on the isle to test this out. If you have barbs, orders, AND strength of honor, and are using flail (or maybe flurry) to fire away, then the single-target DPS is actually similar (or even slightly better) to a moebius spammer doing the same. Of course Moebius also happens to hit adjacent targets, and actually do damage when all the above conditions aren't met...

@ 360': It pwns his build, I just feel it. Be sure to post attributes, he might learn something from you.

Meh have someone else maintain SoH on you and make an unblockable shattering assault build if you're fed up with moebius. I used that in some PvE areas and it raped, especially kournan bowmen and marghonite clerics hated it. Locust's is pretty bad tho.

Please dont copy the title of my thread,
when the purpose's of the two builds are completely different.
It also makes no sense grammatically.
Constructive criticism:
The e-management is horrible. Three 10en spells. Im too lazy to make a suggestion.
Imho locusts is useless for dps.
The phrase dps and locusts fury should not be used in the same sentence,
unless "low" is before dps, sorry.

unless "low" is before dps, sorry. Technically only two 10e spells really: the other can be precast.
Also, if locusts is "useless for dps", then...what exactly is it good for? Spiking? :P
If you're saying that locusts is only good for building adrenaline, then you're disregarding the fact that there are many other builds that are only marginally less efficient at building adrenaline, but that do much much more damage.
Locusts is basically 'ok' for dps if you combine it with a whole ton of "on hit" effect spells, hexes and whathaveyous, and has the minor advantage of being grotesquely lazy, at the expense of using up a lot of other slots for accessory spells. It's also 'ok' for adrenaline building, as noted, but again: you're sacrificing an awful lot of damage-dealing for a minor advantage in the adrenaline department, and there are other classes that can do the same thing only better.
Moebius blossom sins do constant armour ignoring pressure damage, and they do so very very well. If needed, they can ALSO exploit the adrenaline gain, since they are still attacking stupidly stupidly fast.
Simply put, locusts is boosting your adrenaline gain by about 20-30%, while reducing your unconditional damage output by 40-50%. It's not a good trade-off without addition of the aforementioned "on hit" spells to help.
Locusts isn't...bad, necessarily, it's just..nowhere near as good as moebius.

The only good build for Locust's Fury now is when it's not on your bar.
Sir Pandra Pierva

Locust's Fury misses "Fear Me!"
