Im not saying im leet, hell i havent touched my warrior in about 3 months. However I know from experience that cancel stancing is NOT difficult, |
You kept saying PvE but like 2 paragraphs you talk about PvP.....
Edit: Leet-Speak is against GWG Terms so obviously some people find it offensive/annoying

Except that if your foe moves, it takes you longer to reach them, if they do move you cant stop themem and then IAS again because you probably wont have the adrenaline, and its use slows down the adrenaline gain of your other skills meaning you can use your other attacks less.
Ill admit flail has its uses, but personally i like frenzy more. In pve they are probably equal, however for PVP frenzy definately wins.

Having to auto attack once in PvE won't kill you... PvE is very very forgiving...
Vote for a close because:
1. The OP's question has already been answered...
2. Its going to end in flaming (everything does).
Here is what I use on my warrior. Your milage may very. Did rather well in the Southern Shiverpeaks tonight.
W/D
Swords: 14 (1+3)
Strength: 9 (+1)
Wind Prayers: 12
[skill]Enraging Charge[/skill][skill]Harrier's Haste[/skill]Disarm[skill]Natural Healing[/skill][skill]Crippling Slash[/skill][skill]Gash[/skill][skill]Final Thrust[/skill][skill]Rending Touch[/skill].
Equipment: Furious Blade of Whatever. Str Shield of whatever floats your boat. I have +30's on mine. Dreadnaught's Insignias.
Use enraging charge to wammo your way in. Since they are going to run past you anyway, after you hit and EC ends, use Harrier's Haste to chase them around. Cripslash + Gash + Final Thrust to finish them off.
Use Natural Healing (while not enchanted unless you can't help it) when you need healing if your healers are busy, and use Rending Touch on those pesky anti-warrior slashy slashy attacks. Like Mark of Protection, Protective Spirit, earth-magic enchants Healing Hands, Mystic Regeneration, and the like. Though if you can catch them in the act with Disarm, power to you.
If you are playing with interrupt mesmers/rangers/whatever, watch your spell usage.

Wow, this thread went from one kid asking about pve warrior builds, to people, who started out helping said kid, flaming each other over their word choice, and what they think of each other's skills.
OP, have you considered going W/P and using a spear? the added armor penetration from your strength attribute stacks nicely with the quick rate of the spear, and the piercing vs slashing damage. It also allows you to use flail and dolyak signet more freely, as you dont have to worry too much about chasing an opponent down, especially in pve.
Anyway, just a suggestion, as my warrior's main weapon of choice is a greater guardian spear. Good Luck to ya, whatever you decide.

Warrior spear chuckers are bad... It may seem like a good idea but it is'nt... Their almost as funny as mending wammos. (oh and by the way, i'm W/P for Enduring Harmony...)

Also, notice i above a bit, proclaimed that flail is as good as frenzy in pve, whilst in pvp frenzy is better? This was to point out, that i could see your point about flail.
It is obviously a matter of preference, do you prefer flail, or frenzy. Up to the player, no point discussing it anymore.
