Player Held Event

Sad isnt it? I think it might be time for another player event, and I have an idea for one in my head - But id need opinions on if it would work

say hello to:

Going to try and throw GW's first (to my knowledge) Music festival

This however will involve alot of help from the community (im not a rich person sadly)

I'm hoping to Find enough people kind enough to opent here vent servers for us to play music on for those who want to listen - a sort of mini radio station for the festival. Get a host of random players to have a go at playing some music (any fool can do it)

While this going on of course there will be the usual revelries of quizes, booze and general fun...

Of course it's a very rough Idea - but the kind of Ide ai think might work

The 2 main things needed from the comunity:

• People kind enough to open there vent servers to the public (my single server might not be enough)
• People willing to help with donations for prizes and the like, i can do some but im not a rich guy

so....yay or nay?

well really at the moment im looking for feedback on wiether or not I should go ahead and plan this thing

St Patrick's Day and Easter Mini-events.

Also, MesCon is being held on Saturday, March 15th, which is a returning annual player held event.

so the whole appeal is quizzes and music on vent? meh. The turnout will not be too amazing.

It's a nice effort, but there does not seem to be enough thought put into it.

That, and someone is doing a player event in Lions Arch in April I believe. Looks to be quite intricate .

Yup, St. Patrick's and Easter mini events go into your big gap. There's also the Dragon fest, but that will likely coincide with the third year birthdays.

It'll be interesting to see if this gets off the ground. Maybe Gaile will stop by during it, with a train of flute playing Gwens and all those lovely pyrotechnics.

its the sorta thing i do to be fair

maybe i could get you in contact with GWradio? they could run a show for the people at your event, and i would be more then willing to supply gifts!

just get some lans together and i will see what i cand o for you.

I think I have about 40-50 greens sitting around that could be put to use for something like this.

I have a few little things I'd be willing to donate. Mods, greens, maybe some dedicated minis?

I'll keep track of this topic, see what comes of it.

If this gets popular I might want to give something.
