Yeah...

Prophecies: Either the theme song (brings back so many memories of the beautiful character screen...) or that song in the Borlis Pass cinematic when you meet up with Rurik and Jalis. Very beautiful, one of the more emotional songs in the game. Third favorite has to be that song in the Shiverpeaks, the sad one with the violin - it's recycled in GW:EN too, which makes me happy. OH! And I hope everyone here has the Battle Pak for Sorrow's Furnace as those pieces are epic.

Factions: The Kaineng City music is pretty nice, very flowing and peaceful sounding.

Nightfall: Loved most of the music in this game. Favorites are probably that really hardcore-sounding battle song (the one with the war drums and stuff, and you don't hear it in the game at all until Consulate Docks and beyond), the Abaddon battle theme, and the Tihark Orchard theme, better known as the Rollerbeetle Racing song!

Eye of the North: The theme song again, it's like Prophecies but a lot more adventurous and serious sounding. The Asura areas have some nice sad-sounding pieces. Other than that I wasn't too big on the music, most of it was very plain (most of the Norn music).

I think eye of the north's got some good music overall, unfortunately that's the only good thing about the game in my opinion. The opening theme song and some of the battle themes in the dungeon really get my adrenaline up.

Prophecies: I liked the music in Kryta and the Maguuma Jungle, the login screen music was good too.

Factions: I loved the Jade Sea music, very haunting, and makes your whole head vibrate when you have earphones like mine...

Nightfall: The combat music, the stuff in Consulate Docks, and the Vabbi music. As well as the login screen music.

EotN: Login screen music, combat music, and Asura lands music - there's one section of one particular track that I could play on the piano, if I had some sheet music =P

I'm usually listening to one of my CDs. I always leave the GW music off and the only thing I usually have active is voice and maybe a little BG sounds if they aren't annoying me.

I adore the Prophecies soundtrack and it has the best music out of all the games. My favourite tracks are:

- Eye Of The Storm
- Over The Shiverpeaks
- Gwen's Theme

The violin piece Eldin likes is my second favourite track, it has such an epid feel to it, and the title music is just as grand and impressive.

Nightfall - The Desolation theme, Combat themes, the Nightfall login screen theme. (Oh, how I loved that one. Why can't we change it back?)

IMHO GW music is better than a ton of other music. I really only listen to film and game music, and I've downloaded all of jeremy soule's work.

I have to say that my favorite is the Faction's Theme, which I'm listening to right now.

Awesome, I just found every song in Guild Wars (and a bunch of other games) at ffshrine.

One of my favourites by far is Sunspear Assault, one of the combat themes in Nightfall.

That's one's awesome. Would have loved to see it and similar songs ingame. They would have given it more of an 'epic fantasy' feel.

SO many songs from Prophecies and EotN I love. For Proph it would have to be Eye of the Storm and Gwen. For EotN I'm not sure what it is, but it plays during many of my battles in Norn territory (possibly anywhere. dunno haven't been looking for it, it jsut pops up) and it is epic.

Most of the Battle Pak songs are awesome, wish they weren't cut from the game and were available to all.

IMO the Prophecies and Eye of the North works are best: all that grand trumpety stuff that I yearned for so much when they moved on to Factions and NF.

I hope GW2 continues this type of music.

Prophecies: "Over the Shiverpeaks" from the soundtrack. Also, "The Latch" from Sorrow's Furnace. I love strings!

Factions: Everything except Echovald music. Really well done themes.

Nightfall: Login screen, credits.

Eye of the North: Login screen I suppose. Oh, and the Asura piano piece.

Prophecies - Kryta (Temple Of Tolerance FTW!), Maguuma, Crystal Desert, and Pre-Searing all had beautiful music.

Factions - I liked the music for Echovald, had a very eerily mystic quality to it. Kaineng was alright.

Nightfall - Not big on the music here, but i enjoyed the music from the Consulate Docks mission, fit well

EoTN - The Charr and Asuran areas had excellent music, and i also like the "Battle" music.

I loved all the Sorrow's Furnace music, very hardcore compared to most of the Guild Wars Prophecies music.

I liked all the piano and violin Asura pieces, both are very sad - then again lots of sad things happen in the Asuran areas (the ending of GOLEM, Justiciar Naveed).

As for MY favorite.

The Factions theme.
The crystal desert theme.
The Nightfall theme (at high volumes only, which GW doesnt let me do)
Asuran and Vangaurd music.
Proph theme.
Kaineng theme.

I hate the EN theme, it is not simple enough. Try humming it in your head... or figuring out which part is the course.

Hmmm~ To be honest, I like all of the GW music. I like Factions more than Prophecies and Nightfall but I like them all. It's a nice change from things you hear on the radio and stuff every day.

But my favourite is the Tasca's Demise song that plays almost all the time in the mountains in the North. I love that so so soooooo much <3 Sad that it took me forever to realise it was on my bonus Prophecies music CD too xD;;;

Prophecies: Theme Song, crystal desert music, pre music.

Factions: the music that plays in Kaineng City. Also the main theme.

Nightfall: I don't really have a favorite here.

Eye of the North: Main theme.

My favourites from each chapter + eotn:

Prophecies: Crystal Desert & Presearing themes
Factions: login screen
Nightfall: none
EotN: none

In my opinion the quality of music, sounds & ambience is best in the first two chapters. NF & EotN are bit shallow & empty what comes to those.

As much as I am a fan of Soule's work - bare in mind its not a full orchestra. Its a combination of live and virtual players, and essentially its all enhanced by computers.

Some people are missing out on Nightfall's gem, which is called "Lost Dynasties" (track 3 on soundtrack) and it's desolation music - keep entering some desolation outposts to hear it.

Factions also has an awesome track called "Zen Daijun", which always plays at the end of Minister Cho's Estate (the cutscene with the little boy that's crying -he ruins the music).
