Well I've just purchased Guild wars with my new system. I was wondering how many fps/ how well it would run. Here are the system specs.
AMD Athlon x2 6400+ 3.2Ghz Dual-core.
4GB OCZ RAM 800mhz
ATi Radeon HD3870 512mb GFX card.
Windows Vista
If you need to know any other specs, please post.
So will Guild Wars run well on this system?

It should run quite well. In very congested areas, you should still get about 40fps, but in instanced areas it should hover closer to 60...

Thank you, I was hoping for that response.

Yeah that's a good setup you have, could run a few instances of the game at the same time without lag even.
I have an AMD Athlon 64 6000+ Dual Core, 2GB's of RAM, and a 320MB 8800GTS and I can run the game at max settings with no problems. Right now I have Two instances of the game up at once and both have 60 FPS on max settings.

I think people always seem to get the idea that Guild Wars is a hardware hog because of how nice the game looks. Whats great is that Guild Wars isn't doesn't take top notch hardware at all. I play it with 768MB RAM and a crap vid card on an ancient dell desktop. Of course I don't get high fps on high settings and such, but it still works. There is no doubt that your system will handle anything guild wars throws at you.

Why'd you even make a thread to ask this? It should've been more than obvious if you even skimmed the requirements. This thread seems more like a "look at my shiny new pc!" thread than a real question.

There's better computers out there, don't get too worked up about it.
I don't even think you could consider that computer huge ''E-Peen'' even.

well judging by your computer, I think you will have exactly 86.9221 Fps.
