hi, i been playing other game, recently heard about guild wars.
After few reading, i know that you can go to a certain places to meet up with people or friend to do thing together. My question is I can only meet up with my friend on a certain places? or I can meet up with them any places and do thing togehter?

Due to the way GW is instanced, you can only meet anybody in towns/outposts. Basically, there are towns/outposts all over the place. There are around 150 outposts and towns in GW.

As long as you have access to the same campaigns, you can meet up in that campaign's towns/outposts. If not(ie you own Prophecies and they own Factions), you'll be limited to the pvp Battle Isles. You can however talk to each other regardless.

Also once you add them to your friends list you will see each other online even if running other characters.
Just check friends list when you come online, then you can message them to arrange where to meet up.

or you can do like we did---make your own guild and that way you can always find your friends fast....and make your own cape and get a hall........................
