Possible to change your GW account's login name?

I'm not too clear on the details the GWSupport site gave me.

Like the email?

You should be able to send a confirmation to your current login email, and the email you wanna change it to.

I haven't done it myself, i think you do it through one of the login screen options.

If the above info is correct, then I might have to try to change mine again.

Last time I tried, I think the info I got was something along the lines of, "If you've used your GW account to buy something through the NCSoft store or anything in the client, the two accounts are linked and can not be changed." I'm not totally sure whether that's true though.

That's the part where i get confused as well, i'll have to look around to find more info if you can do it if you bought from GW store.

anet is owned by NCsoft and therefore uses NCsofts system to purchase anything.

you are auto linked to a play NC master account without warning this will happen.

you can use the master NC account to change your CONTACT EMAIL but the email addy in the login becomes judt a login name which is perma locked.

If you have NOT linked your GW account to a PlayNC account, then you can change it.

If you have, then you are STUCK with your current login no matter what. It is, without a doubt, one of the worst security flaws in the history of online gaming, but NCSoft refuses to change it.
