Its pretty much the only thing that I used to play GW for (a looong time ago), so as of today, what IS the best solo farming profession?
I know people will say "well it depends on where you farm", but I'm talking in general, i.e. build that can be used in a number of locations. Most importantly though, UW & FoW, but also some EoTN dungeons / locations.

It seems like Dervishes or Ele/Assassins are the most popular from what I've seen. As you said it seems to depend on what you're farming though.

Rits/eles, 55s are boring
With rits you can do uw, not sure about fow. You can go 600 rit with a hero smiter and you can do dungeons and vanquishs and all kinds of crap.

i think assassin by far, can solo uw, can farm hundreds of bosses in HM too, so lolts of greens and elite tome. The solo boss builds do not take long to kill the boss / get there so you can get fast cash that way.

it can solo farm nearly every boss , it can take on HUGE groups because of the earth armor skills and then kill them with sliver armor etc
