Where Can I One Man Farm For LB Points As An Ele?
whufc89
I need to get my lightbringer rank up so that I can join Ursan groups in DoA as it's only Rank 3 at the moment. I usually farm various places just for the drops/cash etc but I figured I may aswell be getting a title up at the same time.
I started farming outside Plains Of Jarin (Hard Mode) for Sunspear Points a couple days ago with the following build - http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...php?t=10150938
Due to this area consisting of mainly melee, rangers (physical damage) the build works great. I then wondered if I could use the same build to kill enemies where I can get LB points, as this would be a hell of a lot more useful than farming for Sunspear points.
Anyway, does anybody know of anywhere I can farm for LB points with this build or any other decent build I can use for farming LB points & which area/monsters?
Thanks a lot
Oh and I DID use the search button but couldn't find anything unfortunately.

On Volt
Go to Remains of Sahlaja (or something like that :P), find a group that's farming SS/LB points in HM. It's a pretty easy run. You do it with the Junundu.

I'll take a look & give it a go now, thanks.
To everyone else, please still post any builds for actual solo "farming" if you have any, thanks.

Gems + LB points
Gems + LB points

You can easilly do the junundu thing on your own with heroes and hench if you prefer. It'll help level up heroes and pets as well if they need it.

There is a video in the guide....

Still couldn't do it. I'm not even gonna bother with it anymore.
Anyway, back to the original topic...

You could always kill that Exuro boss over and over, but I highly doubt thats gonna pay out, consider the time it takes to kill him as ele.

I don't understand how you & other people manage to keep all your enchantments up with the solo DoA build. It's a real pain in the ass because even if just one of the enchantments is off, you'll die within a matter of seconds. Worrying about all the enchantments + having to keep kinetic armor up every 7 secs or so plus actually killing the enemies is annoying.
Also, it's hard to aggro anything at all when you cast Obsidian Flesh as it makes you walk slower, because you let a group of enemies wait just outside your aggro bubble, then cast all your enchantments hoping that once they're all up you can jus walk into the enemy group, but by the time you've cast all enchantments, the enemy group has run off & due to your speed being lowered by Ob Flesh you can't chase after them.

Also, the DoA farm for City isnt that hard, just make sure all skills are recharging, and be sure to activate OF&"IaU!" when QZ is up, it isnt harder then that...
If you are having trouble aggroing, try aggroing at a diffrent time - And there's no need for them to walk inside your aggro bubble, just attack them.

Obsidian Flesh and "IaU!" are the only ones NEEDED to be activated when QZ ios up. If you activate Sliver Armor when QZ is up it WILL SPEED THINGS UP BUT IS NOT NECECARY. Just maintain the rest of the skills.
Tbh, after you've done like 20 runs, you dont fail.
edit: omfg i suck at spelling
