Sorry, for the noob question and yes, I know Guildwiki is supposed to be my friend but it's not search friendly on this issue (I did look other places). I checked the FAQ and the commands section. I see no command to set your character to "walk" rather than run.
I am making a video and would like to have my girls walk toward the camera. Thanks in advance for your help.
Regards,
Aunti
Is there a command to make a character "walk"

Rexion
nope.
it is kind of annoying, too. Some of the stupid quest NPCs just decide to walk for some reason not allowing us to walk.

Use Dolyak Signet to slow down your character if you just need it to make a video.
As Rexion says there is no way to walk.

If you can get to Marhan's Grotto, the frozen ground there will make you walk slower for a short duration. That's about the only town that has that, I think.

Slow mo could work!

Using Armor of Earth at zero Earth Magic makes you move 50% slower for 30 seconds. The downside is that it's an enchantment with an associated visible element that may not be desirable. 50% decrease in movement speed produces a natural walking motion, the 75% of Dolyak Signet is too much. Ward Against Foes produces 50% decrease as well, but requires scrimmage.
Slow motion doesn't work because there is a different animation for walking and running, and slow motion running = moon walking. However, since characters walk when going backwards, it might be possible to make the shoot in reverse (haven't tried to see how contrived it would look like).
