Elite Armour Set - Kournan

We all know the Kournans from Guild Wars: Nightfall. We also know their awesome armour.

In order of appearance, Monk, Paragon, Warrior, Dervish, Ranger, Elementalist (Necromancer and Mesmer don't really have any handy images at wiki; too dark to see them clearly, and there are no assassin or ritualist Kournans).



So my idea is that perhaps we could have an elite armour set created that uses these models. Granted, they would need adjustment to make copies for both genders, since most are male only with a few female only. Set them a cost of 15k-20k per piece, some crafting materials like cloth, steel, elonian leather, and a crafter somewhere like, perhaps, Gandara or the Fortress of Jahai, or maybe Ronjok. Dyeable areas would be the cloth sections.

Ok, I admit it, this is a desperate cry for a real helmet for Paragons. But still, the new armour would be pretty neat. We have Istani and we have Vabbian, so why not Kournan? (I'd also love Margonite, but that's beside the point.)

I doubt ArenaNet would do this, but they might want to keep in mind that adding campaign specific content will encourage sales of said campaigns.

....what about White Mantle aswell? But you can only buy it from then from an outpost before when 'You betrey them'

I would like the ele one :P Coned hats ftw. Maybe put the armor crafter behind the Jahai Fortress thing. or even open it up since theres a portal behind it.

They're kind of ugly, but with some tweaks to match the player models and some dyeable areas they may look alright. How about we make the crafter in the Fortress of Jahai? You have to fight your way through the already-existing area to reach this armorsmith, and he's like "Don't hurt me! Please, I'll craft any armor you want."

/notsigned. Tbh thats a very very ugly armor set. I'd prefer the Elite Gladiator man-bra than that.

Here's my idea in full:

1) Make Fortress of Jahai a mini elite area (probably 45 mins in length, possibly less, but with elite Kournans and stuff) - maybe put some high end chests or random exp quests in it.

2) We do like they did with FoW - an armorer which you can only access, perhaps, by stealing a key to the forge which is dropped by one of the elite Kournan Captains.

3) You bust into the forge and he's like "LUL PLEEZ DONT HRUT MEE" and you can make custom armor.

4) Perhaps instead of that Kournan armor, we make Kournan-esque stuff, like what Varesh/Morgahn/Bayel/Kahyet wore.

I've had the idea for awhile, same with Margonite.
They don't have to look like the Kournan ones, but somewhat similar.
Also, to people who say "i don't like it, not signed", keep in mind, not every armor has to be something YOU like. Personally, i wouldn't wear any of those, but the idea is still good since NF has less armors available than Factions.

Hm... ok, but as long as they add also another set matching:
- White Mantle set for Prophecies.
- Crimson Skull/Am Fah/Jade Brotherhood (Depending on profession) for Factions.

Only if theres White Mantle and Shining Blade Armor too.
