Lost username/password

Someone I know last played Guild wars about a year ago but they want to start playng again but they have lost their username and password but they do still have their original cd is there anyway of recovering the user name and password for the account ?

Yeah, tell them to contact support at www.plaync.com and they will help you.
They will ask for the accounts Original CD key(s) used to create/upgrade the account, as long as you provide that key and any requested information then they will help you as best as they can.

plaync is absolutely useless for anything. I've tried to change my password and such but they don't seam to have the answer.

Username is usually their email, and if they have that then they can easily reset their password.
