I'm kinda stuck there.
I've done all the missions leading up to the glade,
but here, I'm stuck.
I talk to elder gretchen,
and she tells me to hurry and find the pedistals,
but nothing happens.
nothing in my quest log, no green arrow,
and the second exit is blocked.
help?

Are you from Nightfall? If you are, it works a little differently in Proph and Factions than in NF. There is an "Enter Mission" button in the party window near the party search button. Whenever you see this, press it to enter the mission (as opposed to talking to an NPC to start the mission).

So you've hit the Enter Mission button and its taken you into the mission, right? And you're just stuck at that part?
The reason I asked if you were from NF is because there's a different way to enter missions there and I figured you might've transfered over from there.

No, it doesn't. You don't talk to NPCs to start missions in Proph. You hit the "Enter Mission" button in your party menu. It should be somewhere around the party search button.
