San Diego Comic Con 2008

Has anyone heard if Anet or NC Soft will have a presence at the Comic Con this year? I'm finally making my first visit to the Comic Con from Hawaii, and I'd love to be able to meet GW people. I was told that they were at the 2007 one, so I'm hoping it holds true for this year.

Who knows? Perhaps I'll score an elusive picture with the ever popular Gaile Gray. =)

oh, that reminds me.. I hope they don't do another minipet promotion for that.. or we'll have another 1,000 threads complaining about it -.- (which is ironic, because I am complaining right now.)

To answer your question, they will probably have a spot there, especially considering their recent lack of hype for GW2. They may be planning to release some content there.

Perhaps they will have a nice GW2 trailer since E3 is no more. Although, the though of a new mini is nice. There was a thread that was asking for a Mini Penguin! Gaile needs to pass that info to the programmers so we can finally have one. =)

Went out to Comic Con web site and it does indeed show NC Soft on the Exhibitors list for 2008.

Holy sweet mother! Thanks dude! I'm glad my trip to Cali won't be a waste. =)

Don't get too excited, if they have as bad a showing at CC in 2008 as they did at Gen Con 2007 then you will be quite disappointed.

I know they put there best foot forward for PAX but, Gen Con was a huge let down, especially the year before (2006) with the big sealed deck tournament.

Just my 2 cents.

But, I do really hope you have a great time and let us know how it was.
I would love to go out there sometime to CC.
